Questions

What does my plan include?

Your provider evaluation, compounded glutathione and injection supplies for 3 months, and shipping are all included in the price shown.

What is glutathione?

Glutathione is an antioxidant your body makes naturally. Research on glutathione injections in healthy people is limited, and specific benefits have not been established. Your provider can talk through whether it is appropriate for your goals.

Is compounded glutathione FDA-approved?

No. Compounded glutathione is prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and is not FDA-approved. It is not approved for skin lightening, and VEVArx does not prescribe it for that purpose.

How is it taken?

Glutathione is given as an injection at home. Your provider will give you instructions specific to your treatment plan.

Can I cancel? What is your refund policy?

Cancel anytime. There are no cancellation fees; cancel anytime from your patient portal at portal.vevarx.com. Your card isn't charged until a licensed provider approves your treatment, so if you cancel before approval, or aren't approved, you won't be charged.

3-month plans have a 3-month minimum and are billed every 3 months. Cancelling stops your next renewal, and you keep your current plan through the period you've paid for.

Refunds. Compounded medications are prepared specifically for you and can't be returned once dispensed, so orders already sent to the pharmacy or shipped aren't refundable. If you cancel after approval but before your order goes to the pharmacy, you'll be refunded minus a $25 provider consultation fee. If your medication arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll work with the pharmacy to make it right.

See our full Terms & Conditions, or email info@vevarx.com.

Important Safety Information

This information applies to compounded glutathione. It is a summary and does not include everything you need to know. Talk with your provider about your medical history and all medicines and supplements you take before starting treatment.

Do not use if you:

  • Have had an allergic reaction to glutathione or any ingredient in the medication
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding, since safety has not been established

Possible serious side effects

  • Serious allergic reactions: stop use and get emergency help for swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, trouble breathing, wheezing, severe rash or itching, or fainting.
  • Breathing problems: stop use and contact your provider right away if you develop wheezing, chest tightness or shortness of breath.

Most common side effects

Injection-site pain, redness or swelling; rash or itching; stomach cramps or bloating; and headache. These are not all the possible side effects. Talk to your provider about any side effect that bothers you or does not go away.

Before you start, tell your provider if you:

  • Have asthma or other breathing problems
  • Have liver or kidney problems
  • Are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding
  • Take any other medicines or supplements

About compounded medications

Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient based on a prescription. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Prescription required; a licensed provider determines whether treatment is appropriate. Individual results vary.

You are encouraged to report negative side effects of prescription drugs to the FDA. Visit www.fda.gov/medwatch or call 1-800-FDA-1088. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
