What does the panel check?

11 lab tests covering your reproductive hormones, thyroid, blood sugar, cholesterol, iron stores, liver and kidney function, and a complete blood count. See the full list below.

How does it work?

Place your order and a licensed provider reviews your information and orders your labs. You'll get a text and an email with directions to schedule your blood draw at one of over 2,000 testing facilities across the U.S. When your results are back, you'll schedule a consultation so your provider can go over them with you.

Do I need insurance?

No. The $99 price covers your lab order, the blood draw and lab testing, and your provider's review of the results.

Lab tests are ordered by a licensed provider when appropriate and performed by a CLIA-certified laboratory. Results are not a diagnosis on their own; your provider reviews them in the context of your health history. This panel is not for emergencies. See common questions.

Why test now

Hormone changes can begin years before your periods stop. Perimenopause can start as early as your mid-30s, and many women don't connect early changes to their hormones. Knowing your numbers gives you and your provider a baseline to compare against over time.

It may be a fit if you

  • Feel tired, foggy or not like yourself and want answers
  • Notice changes in your cycle, sleep, mood or weight
  • Are 35 or older and want a baseline before symptoms show up
  • Think you may be in perimenopause or menopause
  • Want to check your numbers before starting a GLP-1 or hormone therapy

Good to know

  • This panel is not for emergencies. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, call 911 or see a doctor right away.
  • Your provider may recommend follow-up testing or an in-person visit.
  • If you take biotin, hormones or thyroid medication, mention it in your questionnaire, since they can affect some results.

Common questions

Do I need to fast?

For the most accurate glucose and cholesterol results, plan to fast for 8 to 12 hours (water is fine) and get your blood drawn in the morning. Your lab order will include instructions.

When in my cycle should I test?

Some hormones change throughout your cycle. If you have periods, your provider may suggest a specific day to test. If you don't have regular periods, you can test any day.

How long do results take?

Most results are ready within a few business days of your blood draw. You'll see the update in your patient portal, then schedule a consultation so your provider can review them with you.

Where do I get my blood drawn?

You can choose from over 2,000 testing facilities across the United States. After you order, the text and email we send you will explain how to pick a location near you and what to bring.

What happens after I order?

Watch for a text and an email from VEVArx. They explain your next steps and how to get tested. If you don't see them within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us at info@vevarx.com.

Will my provider prescribe treatment?

Your provider will review your results and talk through options. If treatment may help, they can discuss it with you. Treatment is never guaranteed and is only prescribed when it's medically appropriate.

Can I use my insurance?

VEVArx is self-pay and does not bill insurance. The $99 price covers your lab order, testing and provider review.
